keys: school, yogurt, octopus, song, soup


i am one of two brothers (i don’t know who these people are) we are driving through my hometown, but for some reason it looks like a desert. we turn and end up in a ruined amusement park, where all the rides are rusty, and the workers all look like homeless people. we go to a ride that looks like an octopus-shaped carousel.
then i am already from my own perspective and i am at school.
the school looks like a mix of my hometown school and a typical japanese school. it’s break time, very noisy, on the stairs i am almost knocked off my feet.
i run to the auditorium, there stands an angry music teacher and my classmates, whom i see for the first time, and we are preparing to sing a song.
then i am choosing yogurt in a store, but the prices for it are 5 times higher than usual. my mom suggested buying soda, but i refused, i took tea.
we went with my mom to pay at the checkout, but the discount on the card didn’t go through. then i end up at home and refuse to eat soup.

i was in church and watched a candle melt. when it melted, a rainbow essence appeared.
there was a website and my classmates started writing to me.

my mom gave me lanterns that were completely black, but the top part was multicolored.
the lanterns themselves were taller than me. It was November and I decided to go outside around midnight.
i set up the lanterns at a crossroads, figured I’d decorate the city for New Year’s.
when I got home, I grabbed my mug with a pomegranate print on it, dropped in a throat pill and a banana, stirred it up and poured boiling water over it.
i also dreamed I was in some unfamiliar farmhouse, my grandma was there. i was picking cucumbers and radishes and eating them.
